Banner & Roller Banner Printing in Northern Ireland
A good banner gets attention from across a car park, a trade show floor, or a high street. Whether you need a weatherproof PVC banner for an outdoor event or a crisp roller banner for an exhibition stand, we produce both from our Lisburn print works — any size, full colour, fast turnaround.
Our PVC banners come with welded hems and eyelets as standard, and our roller banners are supplied complete with carry case and aluminium stand. Both formats use UV-resistant inks that hold their colour even in direct sunlight.

PVC banners: sizes, hems, and eyelets
PVC (vinyl) banners are the outdoor advertising standard. They are printed on 440gsm PVC material, UV-resistant, and fully capable of handling wind and rain — making them ideal for outdoor events, temporary signage, and seasonal promotions. Standard widths go from 2ft up to 10ft in 1ft increments, with a fixed 2ft height (approximately 600mm). We finish all PVC banners with welded hems — heat-sealed edges that prevent fraying and add durability — and eyelets at regular intervals so you can attach the banner using cable ties, rope, or bungee cords. Eyelets are included as standard on every PVC banner at no extra charge.
Roller banners: indoor display essentials
Roller (retractable) banners are the indoor exhibition and retail display standard. The printed panel retracts into an aluminium base unit for transport and storage, and springs back up when you need it — setup takes under a minute. They are used at trade shows, reception areas, point-of-sale displays, conferences, and anywhere a portable, professional-looking display is needed. Our standard 850mm × 2000mm roller banner is the most popular size — visible from across a room without dominating the space. We also offer wide (1500mm) and deluxe (premium-mechanism) versions. All come with a carry bag for easy transport between venues.
Choosing between PVC and roller banners
The core question is outdoor versus indoor. If your banner is going outside — tied to fencing, hung across a shopfront, mounted on posts for an event, or displayed on scaffolding — PVC is the correct choice. It is UV-resistant, weatherproof, and has the eyelets required for outdoor fixing. If your banner is going inside — at an exhibition stand, reception, conference room, or point of sale — a roller banner is more practical and looks significantly more professional in an interior context. PVC banners can technically be used indoors, but the raw hemmed edges and fixing eyelets are better suited to outdoor settings.
Artwork requirements for banners
Banner artwork needs particular attention to resolution. At large sizes, artwork that looks sharp on screen can print soft. For a standard 6ft × 2ft PVC banner, we require a minimum of 80 DPI at actual print size — but 100–150 DPI is preferable. For roller banners (850mm × 2000mm), 150 DPI at print size is ideal. Supply artwork as a PDF or high-resolution JPG. Include bleed: 20mm on all sides for PVC banners, 3mm for roller banners. Use CMYK colour mode throughout; RGB colours will shift on press. Keep all critical text and logos well clear of the hem area on PVC banners — at least 50mm from the edge.
