About Correx Boards from PCR Print

Correx (corrugated plastic) boards are the outdoor signage standard for real estate, construction, and event industries. Lightweight, waterproof, and rigid enough to stand on a stake, correx boards are visible from a distance and can be installed without specialist equipment. PCR Print produces full-colour correx boards in standard and custom sizes for NI businesses.

Common applications include estate agent for-sale boards, construction site identification, event directional signs, and temporary outdoor advertising. Correx is suitable for short-to-medium duration outdoor use — UV-printed colour holds for a season to a full year in typical NI conditions.

Preparing your Correx Boards artwork

Full artwork guide
  1. Supply artwork at the actual print size with 3mm bleed on all sides in CMYK colour mode.
  2. Resolution: 100–150 DPI at final print size is sufficient for correx boards intended for outdoor signage.
  3. Include any drill hole or stake pocket positions in your artwork brief — we mark these on the board to order.
  4. For correx that will be read from a distance, use high-contrast typography and large, bold fonts.
  5. Avoid fine detail and small text — correx boards are outdoor signage, not leaflets.
  6. If staking boards into the ground, allow space at the bottom of the design for the stake insertion area.

Turnaround & delivery

Correx boards are typically produced in 3–5 working days from artwork approval. Delivered flat via courier to any NI address.
