Preparing your A1 Poster Printing artwork
Full artwork guide- Supply artwork as a PDF or high-resolution JPG/PNG in CMYK colour mode.
- Include 3mm bleed on all sides — extend background images to the bleed edge.
- For A3 and A2 posters viewed at close range, use 300 DPI at the actual print size.
- For A1 and A0, the minimum acceptable resolution is 150 DPI at print size — 200 DPI is better for photographic content.
- Never scale up a low-resolution file to fill a larger size — imperfections are magnified at large scale.
- Embed fonts or convert all text to outlines before exporting.
Turnaround & delivery
Poster turnaround is 2–3 working days from artwork approval, with next day delivery available on selected poster products. A3 and A2 are packaged flat; A1 and A0 are rolled in protective tubes. Courier delivery is available to all NI postcodes.

Our standard maximum is A0 (1189 × 841mm). For sizes larger than A0, or for non-standard dimensions, contact us — we may be able to produce them via our large format service.
Yes. For A3 and A2 viewed at close range, aim for 300 DPI at print size. For A1 and A0, 150 DPI at actual size is the minimum — but 200 DPI gives noticeably better results for photographic content. Never scale up a low-resolution file.
All standard posters are printed on 170gsm silk, which has a smooth, slightly satin surface. It renders detail accurately and reduces overhead lighting glare — ideal for retail and waiting room environments.
We supply posters as flat printed sheets. For temporary display, poster strips or blu-tack work well. For semi-permanent use, clip frames and snap frames are available in A3 through A1 from office supply retailers.
Our standard minimum is 10 copies, which keeps the per-unit cost reasonable. If you genuinely need fewer, contact us and we will advise.
